 Mechelen 2002
On Sunday 22 September 2002 the first meeting of the Volvo 480 Team Belgium
was held in Mechelen (B). This happened to be the annual car-free day in Europe
(which we only found out a couple of days in advance), so some people could
not or did not want to show up. Nevertheless eight cars were there and we
had a great time. Basically we gathered on a large parking area and checked
all the ins and outs of each other's 480. You have missed a 480 on LPG
(368.000 km!), a chiptuned turbo, the last remaing USA spec 480 (last one
driving of 10 ever made), home made sills, home made white speedo meters,
creative stickering, enormous music installations and much more.
