 Maymeeting 2001
May 12th 2001 we had our second meeting, this time in Callantsoog (NL) near the beach. It
was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and shiney Volvo 480. Harry Obelink and Daniël Wilten
had set out the route for the tour this day which ran from the Northsea to the IJsselmeer and back.
At 12:00 we all gathered at restaurant 'Okidoki', the owner was a car-enthusiast himself so he
opened the garden of the restaurant so we could park our babies safe on the grass. It was a spectacular sight.
After everyone had arrived we were pleased to announce that Robert Veldkamp had made clubstickers which all
our members can receive for free!
Everyone was so enjoying themselves that we had a hard time to get everyone to start the tour. Route-descriptions were handed out
and with intervals of a minute everyone was on his way. The tour led through a large part of the dutch province 'Noord Holland'.
It was perfect timing because lots of flowerbeds were blooming as you can see on the pictures taken that day!
When everyone had come back it was time to check the little questionnaire everyone had to answer on their way.
