VIN Reader
The VIN is the identifier for cars. No two VIN's are identical. VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number.
It is a composed set of characters that tells you things like what brand it is, what type, what factory it was
produced and what chassis-number it is.
Let's examine a VIN for a Volvo 480
Where do we find the VIN? In a 480 the VIN is placed under the bonnet above the radiator. You can see it when you open the bonnet.
It should be on the right side of the bonnet catch.

Paint code
The paint code consists out of up to three digits to refer to the colour, followed by a dash and then an extra digit with unknown purpose.
