Borbet A's

Post by Pearsy » Sat Aug 11, 2007 1:43 pm

Hi, i am lookin to get some borbet As for my 480, ive found some but they are in 2 different sizes. the front 2 are 16x7.5 with an offset of 25 and the rear 2 are 16x9 with an offset of 15.

if i remember correctly, the general offset for a volvo is for et25... firstly, is that right? and if so, would i be able to get a way with the offset of 15 on the rear? the tyres that come with it are:
7.5''x16'' with Falken 195/45/16 and 9''x16'' with falken 215/40/16

cheers, sam (ps i got a G reg volvo 480 turbo :)

I was also looking into borbet a's, but didn't go for them. The original ET for 480 is around ~35. For example 15" Cetus rims are ET37. I think with ET 25 it should fit. I mean it should. :) If I remember correctly, someone had fitted Borbet A's with ET15 on their 480.

Having a 9J on the back, with an ET15 I think will stick out a fair bit. Chances are it'll cause a problem, so best to trial fit them.

A's need to be sat right in the arches to look really good. I think they suit Golfs, E30 BMs, and CRXs allot more than 480s.
