Brake pedal sticking
I've got an intermittent fault with the turbo that we've just bought. Sometimes when you brake, the pedal stays down and then slowly releases. This was a declared fault when we bought the car, but the 120 mile drive home, plus a 30 mile drive to and from work yesterday failed to show the problem. This morning, drove the car 3 miles into the village, and it's happened virtually everytime I've braked. Anyone had this before, or have any ideas as to what it might be?

Sounds like the ABS unit or a dirty sensor/broken wire Steve.
Feel along the wires which go to each sensore very carefully,If you feel a break inside then solder back together or new sensor and wire time.
Could be master cylinder too.
I think just bleeding may help but Id try and find out when that was last done, also check the bleed nipples, flexi hoses for bulging too mate.
Good Luck!

Thanks for that Groomus, I'm hoping I've cured it by lubeing (ooer) all the linkages from the pedal to the ABS system. It was certainly OK today, so fingers crossed. At least I've got some more places to look if it's still iffy.
Only problem is, if I get it properly sorted Jayne will start using it everyday, and I'll have to go back to the Pug
