Hi All
I know a couple of us have other volvos in our fleets. As I am replacing the 480 back box its been sat on the drive and I've been using the Volvo 940 turbo for work.
And I noticed how relaxed it is to drive, having a large turbo engine to pull you along and other cars don't try and race you.
And the best thing (other than drifting the backend round corners!) is the overdrive button insted of a fifth gear. just press the button for overtaking, turbo starts to boost and the 940 battlecruiser goes to warp!
Pity the fuel comsumption is so poor 28Mpg as opposed to 43Mpg of the 480.
A change is as good as a holiday I suppose.
regards
Mark

YAy! I've just got myself a 740 Turbo as a daily driver. Awesome car!
Don't worry folks, still keeping Blinky, though I love Blink tooo much to expose her to the evils of winter.
P.S RWD rocks!
P.P.S Everything seems to move out of the way when it see's a 740 Turbo in gunmetal grey steaming along at 100.

43 mpg
well my 480 is one of the lightweight 480s and isn't burden with heavey sunroofs, washer bottle level warning sensors or front fog lamps! its does have the lightweight full leather interior.
My 940 on the other hand needs only the volvo factory fitted cloaking device (torslanda option) as everyone can see it and they get out of your way.
phasors might be a good idea..
Mat is yours the 2.3 turbo with the nonwatercooled turbo? 197 hp
regards
