Brake pads,
How easy is it to change brake pads? Anyone able to do a step by step for me?

No problem. Especially on discs. I reckon haynes are good for things like brakes if u haven't done them before.
Get yer car on axle stands with front wheels off(be pretty difficult if u dont).
Once you're looking at the caliper and pads it should be pretty obvious which bits u need to remove.
Pretty sure it's just 2 allen bolts (possibly under a rubber gromet) undo them,
prise out the spring,
pull off the caliper.
Smear backs of new pads with copper grease (helps prevent squealing),
put it all back together.
Cant go wrong. Probably.
Some people advise to apply threadlock to the caliper bolts. Probably wise.
Sorry it's a bit vague. Cant remember exactly on the 480, just know it's pretty much the same as every other car i've done.

Fronts are a doddle, rears are trickier because of the handbrake. In addition to everything that's been said, you will need an odd sized allen key to actually undo the caliper retaining bolts (under a rubber cap) - can't remember if it's 5mm or 7mm or something, but it's a size that's not in most sets - I went to a motor factor and picked up a caliper tool designed for a fiesta I think - it's the correct size. Also bear in mind the caliper bolts are only part threaded, so undo them for a good few turns and then pull them (although not too hard, you don't want to extract them totally), otherwise you'll spend 30 minbs turning and wondering why they don't come out anymore . Careful with that grease, too! Oh, and don't forget to open your brake fluid resovoir cap, that will make pushing the pistons back a lot easier - you may need to use the bleed screws when you're done just to make sure no air has crept in too.
The fronts took me about 40 mins a side, and I'd never done it before - but I did have some very heavilly rusted main bolts to contend with, so I had to go searching for a suitable lever

Really , take care if they are rear pads
In fact they don't know the procedure to push back the piston in a Teves rear brake the adjustment screw (allen 4 or 5 ?) has to be undo before pushing back the piston . That screw is hidden behind a cap ( allen 5 or 6 ? ). After fitting the new pads , do that screw up the disk cann't move then undo a bit and close back the cap . Normally , that's enough to reach good handbrake lever course .
If no , the central cable should be adjusted ..............an other day
