Bulbs

Post by just_somebody » Fri Oct 02, 2020 10:25 am

Hi all, sorry to trouble you but just wondering if someone can post me some links for interior bulbs that I need. Can't seem to find them on ebay but sure they are there. I need a hazard switch bulb which I see are 0.36w (or something like that) and I need a glove box bulb. Be grateful if someone can direct me to exactly what I need so I don't order the wrong parts.

Also a quick one to run past you, went to start the car last night and it was turning over very slowly exactly like you'd expect with a flat battery. Strange thing was that all the interior lights were lit up fine and not dimmed or flickering (which I would have expected if the battery was dead). Anyway it wasn't started and turning the key the starting was very slow and laboured and getting slower. I left it half hour or so then tried again and it was still very slow but it did start. Also it started this morning. Does this sound like a battery issue, an alternator issue or a starter motor issue? Or none of the above.

Many thanks!!! :D

The quite low wattage Hazard light one is the hardest to find, but they are readily available.

struggle isn't the word for it. Can't find the 0.36w bulbs for love nor money. Not totally sure I've found the right glove box ones either to be honest. On the plus point I have easily found the 1.2w ones :D

I seem to remember that the ones I bought were listed not by Wattage but by current draw.

If Jeff has 0.36W to send you then just get them from him as he has stock. if not, let me know as I think I bought a load and they are in the garage ive given so many away over the years though that you might be out of luck

yes, here is the link to RS Components, part number 655-9659
https://uk.rs-online.com/mobile/p/filam ... s/6559659/

They list it as 12V, 30mA not 0.36W. Once you know this, you can find wore options. I think RS is a god bet though

P=IV
0.36W = 0.03A x 12V

cheers I appreciate the link. Now wonder I'm struggling if they don't put the wattage on them. I'll see if Jeff has any going spare he can send me otherwise I'll go with RS.
