Calling the master himself or any knowledgeable wedgies out there...
It feels like I should rub this and Robou will appear himself, like Aladdin, out of the vacuum port
Back in what feels like a previous life, I purchased this Roboumod EZ210K from forum member jamesy12345.
Now fitting it is becoming a closer reality...
I forgot to ask at the time... but what is this fly lead?
My suspicions are a) a reset or b) a switch between eco/nutter.
How do I use it / wire it?
Any input gratefully received.

Re: Robou ECU Fly Lead?
Its different from mine, as I've got 3 flyleads....
I could have nutter/utterly bonkers/reset
I suspect yours is just a reset. I've got instructions I can send you from Robou himself on setting the auxiliary bits up?

Yes that would be very handy Jeff.... whatever you have would be great.
More questions than answers as ever... when is a reset necessary.... do the leads need to be joined together or flashed to ground for a reset?
If it is actually a reset and not a mode switch?
Want to be fully familiarised before fitment... the longevity of my stock B18FT depends on it!

Re: Robou ECU Fly Lead?
After having received jifflemons documentation you may notice an isolated jumper is needed to temporarely connect the wires in order to perform a reset. From the picture I can't make out whether the jumper is still present. If not, a (metal!) paperclip or anything like that will do. Just don't keep it in any of the contacts, they're supposed to stay isolated from the outside world.
By the time your ECU was modified the so called "eco" mod didn't exist, hence no changing mods.
This, by the way, is obviously a superfluous add-on as it turns out the majority prefers the "eco" type for the friendlier handling and saving petrol. Older mods can easily be provided with it by exchanging the eprom and, if appropriate, a small change in hardware.

Re: Robou ECU Fly Lead?
Hi Robou thanks for the reply. Is this upgrade to “switchable modes” something you still facilitate these days?
Can I send mine back for a once-over and upgrade?
Hopefully Jeff can find this documentation.
Many thanks All.

Judging by Jeffs activity on the forum he's a very busy person. Let's relieve him by sending me your e-mail address by PM and I'll provide you with the somewhat outdated "Manual".
