Article on the Wedgie in C&C "magazine"

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Article on the Wedgie in C&C "magazine"

Very positive, if a bit gushing I must say, but nice to see it represented fairly and not derided (though that is a rare occurrence these days I feel)

Enjoy!

Thanks for flagging this Ben - I just found it myself and logged on here to tell the world, only to find you'd beaten me to it!

Yes, it is a bit gushing, but very positive. I think (or at least I hope) the days when every motoring magazine article about the 480 is derogatory; there have been several recently and all good, as if people are finally discovering what good little cars a properly sorted and cared for 480 can be.

Don't know about anyone else, but I have definitely been getting a lot more interest in mine over the last, say 6-12 months when out and about. From people looking and smiling/nodding etc as they drive by to people coming over to speak to me, ask about the car, and always very enthusiastic about what they see...

Long may it continue!

And this evening's bombshell? I log on to my favourite source of all news wedgie, only to find I'm officially a member of a Cult! :)

Ah well.. I can think of worse things that have been levelled at me for the obsession with the extra marital car..

I wouldn't be so sure, the modding lot seem to have, in general, left many alone, as FWD means it can't really be drifted, which is what most want. Rarity doesn't stop them though unfortunately, the amount of poor little Isuzu Piazza's i've seen ravaged :cryhard:

Was so pleased and surprised about seeing a positive review I sent a email thanking the editor. As others have said it’s a rarity to see a positive review of these little gems.

Thanks for this post.
Like the carandclassic VOLVO 480 – CULT CLASSIC, NOT BEST SELLER article.
