480 GT
Anyone fancy buying my GT? Obviously I live miles away but I'm 20 mins from Inverness airport and there's some great driving roads up here
I've been offered a project 480 that's going to be difficult to turn down
1994 480 GT, only 21 left on the road of original 250 sold.
MoT'd for 10 months (April 2020) No Advisories.
2 original keys
76900 miles. History and invoices to back this up. Service history stamped up to 46,000 miles. Was dry stored for several years (9?), hence the low mileage.
3 previous owners (4 keepers due to previous owners divorce!)
Lots of old MoT Certificates and invoices for work done.
Brand new Volvo subframe fitted in 2008, part is now no longer available (£600!).
O/S rear arch replaced previously.
Catalytic converter/Lambda sensor/Recent new windscreen etc etc
Work carried out by me.
4 matching Bridgestone tyres.
Full oil and oil filter/air filter/brake fluid change.
New KYB rear shocks.
Fuel filter
anti rust paint/underseal on front subframe/underside of car.
Front/rear brake pipes.
Both rear calipers/brake pads/flexi hose.
New battery
All 4 front wishbone bushes.
New exhaust from cat back.
DRL lenses replaced with new ones and insides resprayed silver.
Not so good points:
Interior boot release cable snapped.
N/S rear arch rusty.
Small amounts of rust on bottom of doors an bubbling on front wing.
O/S sill in front of arch has corrosion.
O/S window motor needs replaced.
Small amount of rust on one door bottom.
Overall it's in mechanically good condition and drives great, the info centre also works!
The paint work needs attention but it's solid underneath, especially for a 25 year old car. Looks presentable enough at the moment after a wash.
There's probably more things that I've replaced that will come back to me in time.
Will try and upload some pics...

Re: 480 GT
Are you selling a turbo Jiffy? I could be interested in a swap if it was almost roadworthy
