starter motor spade connection

Post by JimAitken » Wed Nov 01, 2017 1:45 pm

Just picked up a new starter motor from EuroCarParts (recommended from my number plate). On the new one, there is a spade connection, but on my old one, there doesn't seem to be one. What should be connected to the spade connector? Is it used on a 480 2L?
thanks

Do you mean the new starter has a second spade connector? If so, ignore it. It's used in ballast resisted ignitions on much earlier (and also non volvo) cars.

Yes it's on the new one. Thanks for info. I'm going to swapping the starter motors over this weekend.
cheers
