I don't think I'd dare suggest there was any part of a 480 that would never break

Never say never. Time will turn everything to dust eventually...
even Volvos but I reckon you might still find the remains of something like a 200 or 700 series several million years from now
400 series, maybe not... but hey, enjoy it while it lasts!
