Light Cluster Repair?

Post by Martin Mc » Mon Nov 23, 2015 8:02 pm

Hello folks,

I know it is possible to get new front indicator / driving light clusters (220 Euro), but was wondering if anyone had come up with any clever ways of mending the inevitably cracked / broken driving light part? I have acquired a very nice 1994 S, in generally excellent condition, apart from the usual brittle / broken driving light scenario.

I was thinking about adapting a clear / diffusing lens from a scrapper, using a fine blade to cut to size and then epoxy resin to secure in place of the offending brittle bit.

At 220 Euro per side I think it is probably worthwhile ;)

Any (helpful!) suggestions gratefully received -

Cheers!

Martin

just get a second hand lens and then clean it up and stick it on.
