Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Way out of my budget I'm afraid
Especially when I can get some cheap off the shelf crappy ones for under £95 delivered.

I suppose you realise that you're likely to ruin the handling.

Yep, I do indeed but I'll have to try it.
I have asked some owners, some say don't do it! Others say it's fine and haven't noticed a difference!
So confused

LOL, I'd suggest that those who haven't noticed a difference aren't very sensitive drivers. I drove one which had been lowered and thought it had awful handling. Still, if you don't try to corner at more than 30mph I guess you'll be OK. I have to say they can look good lowered. Don't forget, if you don't inform your insurance company, if you have an accident and they spot it, they won't pay.

lowered 40 mm is a really harsh ride and although it may handle abit better its not worth it in my opinion. speed bumps and fully loaded car are really bad news also the panhard ?? rod is out as well. Would not advise it and my son has had 2 40 mm lowered turbos .

I'm going for a 30mm lowering kit, I've been undecided about doing it but with nice rims on it my car needs to go down a bit! Purely for looks lol
With regards to comfort I can't say I'm that bothered after coming recently from a Golf MK3 with cheap coilovers and hard recaro seats, that genuinely gave me my first dose of back ache so I'm not worried there!!

Hi
I have some 30mm lejsford i think cant quite remember the spelling, I only did about 5k on them in the dry so they are like new no rust or anything. The car looked good lowered but i was never that impressed with the ride must be getting old

. My car in my profile pic is sat on them to give you an idea how it looks.
They are sat in the garage if you want them.
Cheers
Rich
