urgent need advice duff brakes
480 turbo 1992 brakes have gone virtually solid garage has worked on servo still no joy any one any ideas?

foot brake barely bits pedal has a very solid feel almost no travel on it at all .
Garage checked and replaced servo unit but with no effect , obviously have checked for siezed pistons. The garage specialises in volvos but is not a an authorised garage and have worked on a number of 480s before. They hope it is the connecting rod from pedal to servo that is seized and have left it doused in wd40 over night but they are quite baffled as to the cause of the problem.

Yeah Id have suggested the vacuum pipe form the manifold to the servo Jim.
I used to lube that rod too,ooer!,with PTFE spray..
