My new clio :)

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

My new clio :)

Post by dave » Thu Jul 27, 2006 9:55 pm

Ok so i bought this one as a doner car untill my engine is finished. Its a L reg Rsi and has all the bits needed to get mines in. Picked it up for £200 + £100 for a truck to get it back to my garage. The intercooler and fotge acutator is worth £250 so i think i made a good buy. I have also sold the skirts for £70 and there are lots more bits to sell on.

What you think guys???

OK but fair play to the amount of work that went into fitting the b18ft into that. Check out those mounts.

Agree with Dave on that. Fair play to Dave and it's not a 480 but it's a bloody good bit of work that's gone into it and his got a job doing his other one.

Wire the volvo loom into the standard clio loom. I did wiring at halfords for 4 years and so did a good frien of mines, but we might still need a little hand.

Ill get the engine in the bay first then take it from there.

You could have the window wipers off a 480 onto another car, but it would still only be a.n.other car though eh? :dunno:

Go on Dave, get a shell with the looks to match that engine. Join the dark side! ;)

I am on the look out for one. For my Mum as she has always wanted one. Must be an auto and preferably a turbo. Only problem is that she is disabled and the 480 is quite a low car. :(
