Yeah, just the recurring them of "talks too much, not enough effort". Still, when my parents were both teachers you didn't get away with much... :-(

I was an absolute bastard at school, but did well in tests and exams. Most my reports consisted of: "Mathew needs to pay more attention during class." (I was diagnosed as having AD/HD) though.

I was a good boy in school too...well eventually by the end of it. Had a few instances with lack of of homework = detentions and also two cases of afterschools, both for remarks about teachers(called a substitute art teacher a sexist pig and about 2 months later got in trouble for calling my RE teacher a WANKER, and yes it was shouted but he didnt hear me. Unfortunately my head of year was stood behind me when I yelled it  )

I was a good child when i wasn't...

1-Saving up a 'wee' and really letting the frogspawn have it in the pond
2-Flushing and blocking the toilets with 'Page 3' models that i used to look for amongst the painting newspaper (only flushed when capture was imminent)
3-Eating other peoples snacks out of the basket at Playtime
4-Really pinging elastic bands at my Art teachers arse from point blank...
5-'Exposing myself' to the girls at Swimming club after school.
6-Picking the thorns off roses bushes in the 'special garden', gluing them to my forehead then headbutting people like i was some kind of monstrous Rhino
7-Forcefully swapping individual penny sweets for Kinder egg toys as i was never allowed them
8-And seeing how many Micro Machines i could again, forcefully swap for the forcefully swapped Kinder Egg toy's if they were shite. I had an Ice cream tub full of Micro Machines!

Mind you, that was all in Primary school...my parents would probably ground me now if they found out even half of that...From middle school upwards, i was a good boy!

Dan=Teachers nightmare by look of it! lol.

Most of my reports were "Daydreamer".

Worst thing I did at skool was to sharpen a pencil for 15mins in history before stabbing the kid sitting infront of me with it right in the back.
To add insult to injury (literally) he then got thrown out the classroom and had to stand in the hall for making a noise in class.

The noise was kinda "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooowwwwwwwwww you twat Stupot!"

Ah, happy days....

Stu.

I must add, this is no reflection upon my poor parents! I was just a little sod when i was at Primary!

I wasn't the teachers nightmare--i was an outstanding liar-anything to get out of trouble! I remeber alot of fellow classmates being 'stitched up' so to speak!

Yikes - that made me feel OLD skool - in Jnr school I used to play C.H.I.P.S with my mates on our Choppers (with the old yellow sirens with the red button on the handlebars) - progressed to my BMX Burner at high school a few years later.

C'mon someone - make me feel better and say you used to go to school on a penny farthing - WD?

I had a Raleigh Tomahawk (baby Chopper bike), mid 70's - sorry no penny farthings. Passed my cycling proficiency test on it :D

At school, all the teachers used to say 'You girls at the back stop talking'. Teachers used to throw those lovely black pumps and chalk board rubbers at the naughty ones - never at me  Ahh, those were the days...

Not quite young man :D
My schooldays were very enjoyable; taught by nuns initially as it was a R.C. Primary school-just happened to be the best school! Never been the same since when it comes to uniforms!!
Progressed from there to Grammar School and travelled daily by bus for 7 years.
Great days and heady stories for another day-it all seems so long ago but life seemed so much less complicated then.
Ahh the good old days!

Luckily for us we spent most of our school years abroad, 8 till 1 then the rest of the day at the beach, swimming club or picking pomegranates with monkeys!!!!

As for reports, well they were printed on parchment it was that long ago!!!

It does cheers Murf!

I've still got my old red Grifter down on my pops farm somewhere - complete with grip shifter (remember the red/yellow/green tabs for the 3gears?) and big old cushion seat that used to split and act like a sponge when you left your bike outside - wet pants the next day!

Can't believe that my Grifter was even heavier than my purple Chopper (Oi! stop it you lot....) was. It still weighs a tonne today.

Happy days indeed.
