Met sallysal today...

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Met sallysal today...

Post by Ally » Thu Jun 23, 2005 12:13 am

Met Sally (sallysal) today, She came running out of Murray Volvo in Edinburgh waving her arms and shouting "Hi, love your car!" and there's dozy me wondering what the hell was going on. Boy does that girl have enthusiasm... ;)

Nice to put a face to a name though, and good to know there's another loved 480 in the area.

I was collecting a weather strip for my driver's door (£11.60 +VAT) and a couple of heater control knobs (£0.55 +VAT each) - if only all volvo spares were that cheap!

Yes I did get a bit excited (beware children!- too many jelly babies can have that effect!).

I walked out of Murrays and low and behold! there's three 480s in the car park......crikey that's a mini-meet!!
