:(

Had a fantastic journey from my place to Denford in Northamptonshire over the BH weekend, 480 went like the wind, kept it to a sedate 80 all the way down the A1, but coming back was at a snails pace, excrutiatingly painful crawling along behind bloody lorries when my car just wants to zoom zoom....anyhoo back on track......never saw another 480 at all not a single one.......are we really as rare as hens teeth????

I saw the other day the first volvo 480 turbo on the road, it was a red H reg I think on the A37. I've seen a GT as well in Bristol. Apart from that it's been all 1.7 ES

I saw 2 in Ilfracombe (little town in North Devon) in about 15 minutes. I was driving mine so that was 3. That's where they all were :D

I was wondering if there was some meet I had missed!

Had a nice drive home from work thursday night...

Decided to come home across the moor, and caught up with a black G plate ES just before burtle. He then pulled in and stopped, and got out but by the time I got to the end of the straight he was back in and after me :)
Let him catch me up round the twisty bits, the floored it away from him across tilehouse road, then slowed down for the junction to let him catch up, before leaving him again. Could tell he was playing with me caus eat one point we were doing around 85, and when he caught up he would steam up behind me and then drop back to a sensible distance.
Lost him pulling out next to the fox and goose, else I would have tried to get him to stop for a chat.

Pretty sure its one I have seen around before.

I only know of one maybe two in Limerick.......when do they become classics? I'd love to give it a complete restore but would rather it had some value...a proper respray and some nice wheels will cost 2k...

There is no doubt, it is kool to see another 480 on the road... :D

There's a silver ES in brid, and there was a black ES in driffield last year but the kid who had it was driving it with no tax or anything (didn't even have a licence) so you can guess what happened to that, also was a red turbo and a two-tone in pocklington but not seen them for a couple of months at least

Normaly I don't see 480s while I am driving mine. I went all the way to Liverpool recently, and didn't see one.

Driving around weston in my van.... 3 in one day. It's odd the way that happens.
