Picked this up today as there’s a 480 turbo article.

I’ll scan it in tomorrow but it’s nothing more than a subtle ad for the car (which I believe has been sold - it was up for 6k!)

Laughably, they say it’s one of only 3 turbo autos left!

Last I checked, there was still at least 60 on dvla’s books!

Didn’t see the lights, but it did look good, and with the history and low mileage, it’s definitely cheaper than trying to restore a rough one! I’m glad the cars values are going up, I’ve a huge gripe with practical classics guide which claims a perfect turbo is worth £2750. Really??? Go find me one for that and i’ll have it!

When mines finished, even if I could sell it for 6k, I’d probably be making a loss (which is just another reason why I’d never sell it!).

My gripe is purely with the article; poorly written and seems nothing more than sales pitch in disguise. I paid £4.60 for this mag, I want way more detail than a single page!

Latest figures from howmanyleft.co.uk show in Q3 of 2018, there were 4 non-sunroof, and 12 sunroof turbo auto's on the road, and a total of 46 on Sorn, so where they get their " this is just one of three auto's left" from is just beyond me....

The mag, yes, the car.... well, again, if it’s as good as it looks, I’d argue it’s about right. It’s the second one I’ve seen (the other being a celebration) that went for that figure.
