With my nieces I have been watching 'Shaun the Sheep'.
Some unexpected humor in this series!
I like Bitzer the Sheepdog a lot, he's a funny character.
Very serious ticking the sheep on his notepad, on the other hand seems to have a secret life.
I wonder, what does 'Bitzer' stand for, if anything? And how do you pronounce it, with bi from bit, or bi from bible?

I think it's like the Heinz joke for a mongrel e.g. 57 varieties of dog. In this case "bits of this" is bitzer. Also heard Henry Cole and Sam Lovegrove refer to some old motorbikes as bitzers as they have been cobbled together.
...of course i may be wrong and often am!

That does ring a little bell with me but I can't remember where and what. But thanks for the reply!
