I have a Honda Accord (not the Aerodrag) but I imagine it would drive the same, Exactly the same engine, interior etc. and I must say, that they are a good car, it starts first time everytime (after being left outside for a year) and it has never really gone wrong. However it is the most forgetable car I know. There is just no soul to it. It's the family hack though (just jump in it and don't worry about it) so we don't use it much.
I don't see why they are so often compared with the 480 though, there really is no comparison.

The 480 is Sporty - the Honda is not
The Honda is reliable - the 480 is not
The 480 has a soul - The Honda has not.

Perhaps someone should buy a 'Club Aerodrag' so all the club members can drive it (and forget about it a week later)

this says all. no words can be add. I think people here should stop digging up the aerodeck all the time.

That's funny. I was born in Borne. The 480 was born in Born, about 240 kms further to the south (by road).

A few years ago an Italian truckdriver asked me in Borne (22.00h) where he could find NedCar (the plant were they build Volvos).. I had to tell him he had to turn around and had to drive for some extra hours.

Maybe above all, one of the determining factors will be longevity - whether or not people really want to keep either the 480 or the Aerominty on the road.
They're getting old - and real effort is needed by their owners to keep them going. When a car gets to that age - it's got to have a special something that makes you really love it.

Which of these two is really worth the time, the love, the skinned knuckles, and the effort?

There are at least 12 480s alive and kicking in Edinburgh (and that's not counting the 4 that Ally and I have!) and I see perhaps the odd one or two Aeros very occasionally............................that speaks for itself.

I was thinking about this.... I'm not sure if it's a fair comparison tho, how many aero's where actually produced? Wasn't the 480 was going a lot longer (maybe that tells the full story
