ICE

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

I had to use 2 caps on my old system due to the amount of power it was consuming. I had an uprated alternater on that.

Caps are very good when running heavy bass. (on my shopping list). Believe it or not one of the best places, not the cheapest but one of the best places to get them is Maplins.

They come in all different sizes with or without a display. For RCA's go for some good quality triple shielded as these will help to reduce any possibilities of interference.

As for power cable go for 4GA wire with a distribution block. The reason for such wire is it leaves you with enough space for any future upgrades and saves you money in the long run.

Also do the same for your earth. You will need no more than 1.5-2meters of this.

Try and go for atleast gold plated connections on all your power wires. Sound silly but they make a difference.

After 14 years (god, has it been that long??) of driving I had my first blow out last night. 80mph on the Paddington flyover, outside lane, cars to the left that wouldn't move out the way etc. Strangely the only sign of a blow out was the noise, no effect on the handling! It was the back though. Anyway, the spacesaver spare worked and even the standard wheelbrace worked! Amazingly it wasn't raining... My point being? Well I now appreciate the luxury of a spare wheel!! A can of Instant Tyre wouldn't have helped and the RAC would have been no good, cos it would have totally ruined my night... so I wont be converting my spare wheel well anymore<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">
I will instead look into sinking my Infinity Kappa 6x9's in to the trim panel by the back seats above the little 4x6 speaker boxes. Do y'all think they will fit?? Any good ideas how to hide them?

I looked at doing this with my kenwoods but there is a moulded side impact bar in the way. Could cut it but wouldnt give much for you passengers in a T-bone situation. In the end made boxes for them and bolted them to the floor of the boot.
All the power, none of the lag. (soon)

As long as you make a shelf to cover it up you will have no problem with people seeing it.

Bakke has just tinted his window so people can't see in. This is the other option

My boxes are only small. They are 1.2cft each.

Jamododger.
Your handbrake shouldnt cost mega bucks to fix as long as everything is ok with the calipers and discs, it should take about 5 mins a side to adjust the handbrake mechanism inside each caliper.
