the only person who had a supercharged turbo 480 was rpruen and he isnt in sheffield and didnt get 480 bhp.

On top of that if you had the technical ability to do that would you be asking for the earth locations and sensors!

volvo 480, yeah it was the original renault 1.7 block, but the head was a modified 2ltr one, uprated the turbo to a garret one off the sierra (T3?) added a super charger ...rewrote the software for the ECU, complete re design on the exhaust, modified quaif 6 speed gear box with a RWD output plus lots of other bits like saab injectors, ceramic coatings on the pistons plus 'finning' the bottoms....was a lot of work, but fun....i kinda love the look of them, so just thought why the hell not lol

The turbo and 2ltr heads are diffrent, and how the hell did he get all that lot into the engine bay and make it rwd??? i know rich had done quite a bit to his 480 but was only pushing around the 300bhp mark (give or take a few ponies).

Sounds incredibly unlikely to me. You'd need 10k+ to get that power.

from those pics i can tell that is NOT the b18ft! That is a bike engine!! Most likely a turbo charged busa engine.

Jus loving the reactions here, i must say that lift back 480 looks pretty awesome deffo not a 480's B18ft with a reworked head and a sierra turbo (WTF) i do doubt the fact that 480 is pumping 480bhp and if it were i would like to know where it was measured from, on a dyno at the wheel????

Also when can i take mine, BTW mines pushin 700 BHP to the ton, does 0-60 in 0.00001 seconds <<<<<<< i wish!!!!!

Well, if I look at the dimensions of the engine, I do not think it is a bike engine.
I think it is a car engine, and looking at the shape it is a DOHC engine.
Looks like Ford DOHC ??

I have seen Cossies with more then 480 Hp's in English magazines

The engine is in the back, so it could well be RWD.

Also I think if it is a DOHC engine, if it has been tuned fully (more displacement,blueprinted,balanced,camshafts and so on) and boasts a big turbocharger using a standalone engine management system it is capable of reaching 480 Hp's, but for how long ?

I dont know how you have come to that conclusion but hey who am i to speculate, pretty cool mod tho... but none of us know any details surrounding this vehicle...
