Vintage bike!

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

It is a 1978 Suzuki GS 750. It feels a tad faster than my 480 :)

Thats not the final license plate, I'll get it later :) It is a temporary plate for import bike.

@Joolz: The age limit for vintage bikes here is 30 years :) But I'll bet thats a comfy ride!

EDIT :- oh hang on it's a gs750, not so intrested now! It's a GT750 im after!

Anyway here is my former vintage bike (would be 30 now) but sold it on 3 years ago as i was fed up with the engine constantly buring holes in the left piston

Not too fond of the 2-strokes. Though the GT's looks nice.

Nah, i prefer 2 strokes, less to fix when they inevitably do break down! Currently have a suzuki gn250 4 stroke and the engine is a right pig to do any work on, it constantly needs the valve clearances doing. The previous bike was a kawasaki ZZR250 (ex250h1) And that was even worse than the gn, it was a screamer of a 4 stroke twin (16k red line) but killed drive chains in 100 miles. Had to carry 2 spare chains with me just incase it should die on me, wasnt impressed when it threw the chain into the back wheel @ 85mph on the motorway. it was quickly sold 2 months later when i had fixed it.

Still got a new project to play with soon, a 1974 Yamaha RD200A, another 200cc 2 stroke. but atm am having to spend every spare second of my time keeping the volvo running.
