You're not alone Dan :)

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Just reading the bloody thing made me feel tense like I had to clean a car....

I have to confess, I did get quite niggly after cleaning the 480....I used to take it on a 'lap' round town to blow the remaining water out of the window/sunroof/doorseals (until I discovered compressed air ), and I'd then come back and dry the runs off. I live in a hard-water area, so water does show up alot... However,I'd always come back, dry the water marks off, and be disgusted by the amount of dirt and dust the car had picked up in 15 minutes... Thats when I discovered compressed air, and thats when the car started sitting for a few days after a clean, to keep it clean (well, cleaner than being driven).

That makes me sad I know, but after spending hours cleaning your white car and how hard it is to keep it clean, you'll realise how easy it can be to become obsessed.

What a loser! Richard Hammond I mean...
