I Just killed a tree (the house project)

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Our project started yesterday by taking down the trees on the lot. The house should be ready next year...

I had to kill even more trees on the lot. And even more after that. And those buggers seem to grow so fast that I had to kill a whole bunch of them. Hopefully I don't have to do it anymore.

The house project has moved a bit since last update...

We build a small shed for the firewood. We measured it so that it could fit about two winters worth of firewood. The amount of we chopped off our lot would've lasted for about 4 winters :o

Then the lot god cleaned up of all the stubs of the trees and other crap :) Also the base structure were delivered to the lot.
Image (Yes it is a 480 in the backround!! ;) )

Then they installed the foundation:

The story continues:

Image
Oh yes boys!(and girls) IT'S A DIGGER!

Image

Image
Lots of pipes and stuff.

Image
The base is now done - they'll install the house soon!

Image
And here is the house. In pieces.

Image
Oh yes boys!(and girls) IT'S A MASSIVE CRANE!

Image
The house was in 4 pieces. You kinda attach them like lego-blocks.

Image
The garage door in mid-air.

Image
It is coming up!

Image
This was done on the first day it arrived.

Image
The roof came on the next day.

Image
Currently the house is looking like this

Image
Image
And today we started to build the garage for our cars. The thing is we currently got 4 cars... Got to get rid of atleast one :)

You only need an other garage, no need to get rid of one car.

Nice project!
