For gods sake! Why is everybody buying more cars! I need a car! Very nice Paul. There's one that looks the same as that near me, but not with the interior. GT25T or something :dunno:

Your carbon footprint is going to be crap also! Is there an owners club for that kind of thing?

Great idea! Never mind carbon footprint, its going to be a large carbon boot print!
Things is though, i can only drive one at a time and by owning 3 cars i'm stopping other people from driving them, thus reducing pollution ;) :D

Lovely looking Celica, they've always been one of my favourite cars, I used to have a Mk1 Celica ST back in my younger days, which I sprayed Lotus 88 Camel Yellow, my favourite colour at the time!

Joolz, i'm spending money on other things to stop it getting sucked into the wedding black hole fund!!

Good choice Chris, they are incredible cars for the money. Amazing grip, excellent handling, seemingly endless power and brakes that have to be experienced to be believed!!! They are also very reasonably priced these days! £3k upwards for a tidy one, £4k up for a WRC homologation car (water spray bar for the I/C, anti-lag etc etc)

I got mine for just over £2k. The guy thought it was fooked as there was a persistent stuttering and power loss under boost. He changed all the ignition components and still couldnt fix it. Drove it home and checked it and found some idiot in the past had set the base ignition timing to 0 deg BTDC instead of 10deg. Timed it up and took it for a spin, perfect!!
Also found that the thermostat was faulty and it was running cold all the time, sooted up the plugs a bit.
Got that to change, plus i just picked up a boost controller for it and bought a decat pipe. Those mods plus the exhaust and air filter should see me a safe 300BHP all day long :D
Get over to www.gt4oc.net for info :D
