Is it me, or does anyone else find the latest LV.com advert hilarious?

The one with the Volvo estate flying down the street smashing into all the cars. Great ad for Volvo...every knows these are buillt like tanks!!

Everytime the ad comes on i get grief lol! Good old Ovlovs!!

Dont know about the advert you're talking about, but...

the idea that you cant be safer than in a big old volvo is not correct. see here:

ok its not very scientific and i'm sure it would be different if you crashed old into old or new into new but an interesting thought none the less.

Yes i remember the big debate on this one!

If i can find the ad i will post it here.

It just gave me a giggle so i had to mention it lol

Especially as (apparently) Volvo drivers were quite bulshy in the 90s...think BMW drivers have taken over that genre now

funny you should mention this ... i seen a new Fiat advert the other day with the caption "every single bit, well put together" or something, can't remember which model ... but it made me laugh as it gave me the oposite impression as it seemed to totally fall apart in zero gravity!

if i see it again ... i'll try find the video!

I work for LV and when we had our "AGM" a few months ago we was shown this and I jus laughed how stereotypical it is!

I love the way the Volvo gets through the wall as tho its just card...and then drives away!

And the LV ad is very stereotypical i agree BruceT!!
