where has everyone gone?????

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Probably doesn't help that the 480s really seem to be falling out of the net this year.

Mines not rotten...i keep it that way, but i've started to look for cheap tidy ones purely out of interest, and there are none.

I still look at this forum three times a day plus+

Its all your faults for not writing interesting stuff for me to reply to that i don't write more. ;)

Plus i'm having 480 withdrawal atm, so i'm trying to stay away...

Isn't it quiet every winter, to revive again during springtime?

Mine's damp, frozen handbrake, ice on inside of windscreen, running a bit rough. Haven't felt like posting much or working on the car. It's the weather's fault.

I've not been around as much as i'd like...

The 480's still sat rotting on the pub car park, it's not worth the amount of work/money it'd need spending but i just haven't got the heart to get rid... sad eh?

Bah.. stuck in the escort still, but i suppose it does have half leather.. hehe

Pug blew up :hopping:

Lost my job, but hey, who wants to glue paper to the edges of bits of cloth all day anyway??? silly job that was

List goes on...

I visit the forum quite regulary (every day), just don't really post unless I have something to say, to be honest.

I must admit though, since buying my 245 over Summer I've been spending more time on the Volvo Club UK forums.

Anyway, I find most car forums tend to be a little quiet over Winter as the 'scene' is quite too.

Staying away at the moment - been signed off work since the 20th November... My 480 still has the problem with high idle & throttle that sticks when you put your foot down.. have got a new throttle position sensor that hopefully might solve it - only wish that I could get out and fix it!!!! Missing driving the 480 - it's the most comfortable car I've got!!!!

I'm still around, and visit the site daily, but being new to 480's I tend to browse the info already on the forum, and not post too much in the way of advise, as there are other members out there with alot more knowledge, than myself.

That said I'm sure it will be busy again once Christmas is over, and the new season starts up again.

Hope you have all bought your 480's a nice prezzie!
