exhaust mod

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Mmmm :? not to sure about this it seem like a bit of a farse, but its the same technology used on new Astons!

But i guess the science is right you want a more restrictive exhaust at low revs for better idle, low torque and on a turbo car enough back pressure to keep the oil seal tight....

....and at high revs a less restrictive exhaust at high revs, more power and better fuel economy.

In the vid you only see the b-pipe where the valve goes and how it works.

When they film outside the car, they put back the rest of the b-pipe and muffler.

BTW, these kinds of systems already existed for motorbikes.
