Where are all the 480's

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Driving around weston in my van.... 3 in one day. It's odd the way that happens.

Was looking at friend's Celeb (306) today. Garaged most of its life, so it has that new look...you know how the white ones that have been looked after look really good?

I see them all the time In Taunton! There is one that is always parked behind a load of solicitors offices in town. Theres a Red one down the road from me. Saw a purpleish one in the town centre. There was a white one parked in my tescos local carpark too!

I often see a black one in North Petherton.

Saw a 2ltr paris Blue on the M5 on the way to chris' house in Burnham on sea.

Also saw one on the M4 on the coach up to London to collect my new one. 5 Hour journey back and I didnt see a single one though :?

If you see a Red 480 in the Taunton area with one pop up stuck up and the other fully functional it will be me! If I see any 480's while I have my lights on, I can turn them off and on to make my left pop up wink!!!! Very cool!

I saw a white one in Ilfracombe, so that might have been you, but the lights seemed to be stuck up. Mine's smoke silver.

The other one I saw was a fairly tatty looking black S with no hubcaps.

I seen one identical to mine, (but only one daylight light working!) its funny coz its this old lady must be nearly 100! I've seen her a few times now, she can hardly see over her steering wheel. So ive resisted not beeping to her in the event of a collision!!

i dont think old people are 480 friendly, when buying my car off quite a old single lady she thought the bulb warning light meant the info centre didnt work (at the time it didnt) i tried explaining that simply a daylight running light was out and she didnt know what i meant!! lol

Old lady in the light blue 480, if your reading this - fix your day running light!!

no way strange, living around the factory, there are still some.. I know of like a number of 10 around, just in the villages around me.

never the less, numbers are going down here to...

for instance... : every scrapyard around here had at least one, like 5 years ago.... now youre lucky to find one... 480 that are on the scrapheap will be bought up for slaughtering ( and selling in parts) in no time...
luck,
JPF
