If your talking about car, I'd love one, but fear I have too many already. Please don't tell me it's a 1900GL!

My desktop is a pic I took on a recent cycle around scotland...

Another reason I don't tend to have background images, is all my machines are well used for lots of stuff, and all "current" things are on my desktop for easy retrieval - looking at everyone elses desktops, they all seem fairly clean, mine always looks like this:

Lol mine looks pretty bad I have just a whole mass of crud on my desktop. Especially for my mac, it ruins the whole look of it :( (Hence me just posting the picture ;) )

LOL

Well if you will run bloatware like Vista!!! :P

I got a 2.4GHz processor and 2GB RAM, and everything runs perfectly.

That's why I use 2K (of any Windows variant)

My laptop has 2GB RAM, a 3.something GHz proc and seems decidedly sluggish when running not much at all - that's XP for you... *sigh*

Meh you should get yourselves onto Linux - I run Ubuntu on my dual processor dual-core Xeon 3ghz box with 4gig ram - its pretty nippy running Firefox and surfing ;)

And my Vista machine at work crashes whenever the screensaver comes on - I can't understand what Micro$oft did to XP - although more bloaty than 2k at least it was semi-stable for a microsoft based platform, Vista is more buggy than a house full of bugs

I would expect firefox to run well with dual 3gig cpu's and 4gig RAM.

Does it do anything special?

What the PC? I use it for surfing/e-mails and compiling code - its probably a bit overkill but I'm not a patient man and with the low latency patches I applied to the standard kernel source it doesnt keep me waiting!
