Got in the GT on Monday to find in interior light set hanging off the rooflining by it's wires. Bit wierd as haven't touched it since getting the car so went to pop it back in only to see the 2 plastic sections the screws fix into had snapped clean off leaving the screws in the roof and the main body hanging down.

Superglued it and back fine now, but still scratchin my head wondering how the hell it happened!

Guess it's just one of those freaky 480 moments! Any of your guys had 'wierd shit' happen with no explanation on your 480?

I used my option of course

but Vader has been OK for a good 4 weeks of running up and down the M25 to see Rachel. Did 180 miles today with no probs well apart from it's leaking oil but i'll sort that tomorrow.

I had a few job interviews and I think the threat of giving the 480 up is causing her to work right which is very good. Alot of the problems where dumb like turbo pipes blowing off, starters giving up, alternators stopping.

you get the idea....

I have had loads of problems that sort them selves out.

erratic head lights...... when over a speed bump a bit too fast, problem cured!

Rich mod not working, then working, not working, then working, (messed around with loads of sensor, pipes, etc) no joy. Then one day it just worked properly? Been working fine for 3 months straight (fingers crossed that this comment is not a kiss o' death)

idling at 2,000 rpm (lasted about a week)..... took it to a volvo specalist problem sorted its self on the way to the garage..... garage tested sensor etc no problem (that was 6 months ago, no problem since)?????

.....loads of other stuff i cant remember now, but i totally know what you mean. It like my car has a fear of the dentist

Auto trans that fixes itself once the dumb fuck owner puts both driveshafts in properly!
