How much? Any bod got a rear window blind?

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

How much? Any bod got a rear window blind?

Post by red480gt » Tue Dec 09, 2003 8:21 pm

Hi all

Yesterday i browsed for quite some time the "Accessories" section of the club site. After some thinking i thought id buy my self a blind for the back window as im bothered about people spying in the boot.

I rang the dealer and he told me £94.49 for the rear window blind.

Does anybody have one? are they made of platinum?

Back at the dealers today to pick up some mudflaps that i ordered. I decided to quiz him on few more accessories prices. I dicedied some nice contoured car mats would be nice. He quoted me a whopping 107 pounds.

ive decided to stop asking!!

My most recently purchased 480 came with these fitted in it:

which, whilst looking like they'll keep the floor in perfect condition, aren't particularly nice (I find) to drive with. I called into my nearest Volvo spares (Marshalls, Cambridge) last week, and whilst buying several other odds and ends, enquired about these (using the part number 3451709):

Image,

They quoted me just over £60 for them (not sure if that included VAT or not).

i have the plastic tray type mats now, and i agree they are not the best.
The fronts move about too much, the back ones are a snug fit however.

It was the ones shown in the second pic i asked about and my dealer quoted 107.

Do dealers add to volvo prices or are they fixed by volvo?

Hi,

just look up some more prices, and we can ask around at our local Volvo and parts dealers.

The venatian blind was not longer availible anymore, but since a few months, you can order it again !

The differences in price between Germany and Holland are sometimes really big !

What are the costs in GB for backlightunits ? I think very expensive !

Regards
