480 Breaking

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

If this is the car I saw listed on Facebook earlier, then it's not a GT - rather another case of an ES with GT on the logbook.
It's Paris Blue with black half-leather, no A/C & a power moonroof.

Don't worry you're not the first to make that mistake  There was a chap on FB not too long ago who was absolutely convinced his bright red ES was a GT simply because it said so on the log book. I don't know why, but for some reason a lot of ES models were labelled as GTs by dealers. The GTs are easy to spot as they have a really whacky multi-colour leather interior with BBS style alloys and Air conditioning.

No need to apologise; there was a whole batch from around 1993 wrongly recorded at DVLA. That's why How Many Left talks about there having been over 300 GTs when in the UK the GT was a strictly limited edition of only 250 cars.

No reason why you should have known! TBH, as an ES with half leather interior, you're more likely to attract interest than if it were a GT.

Might be worth re-posting though with the correct details so it doesn't get ignored...

Is the car Paris Blue (code 318)? If so, I'd be interested in both front wings, assuming they aren't rotted through at the sill... I'd also take the plastic window trims above the rear side windows, if they haven't faded to a weird bluey-white as one of mine has done.

Hi I still have the dashboard panel although it has the usual broken piece on the left top corner. As for the wings the drivers wing is totally shot but not sure about passenger side will need to check. I think the panels above the rear windows are pretty good but will need to double check also.
