Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Hello everyone,
Seeing as the welding is the last 'big job' left to do on my car, and It could be done as early as 4-5 weeks maybe, I want to get some parts together do do some improvements to my car that I've wanted to do for a while now. If anyone has any of the parts below for sale, that would be fantastic.
- Factory pinstripe (I saw a picture of a rather shabby TT the other day on with a white one on Flickr and it looked really nice)
- Oil pressure sender adapter (the bit that screws onto the block and connects to the sender unit)
- Rear fog lamp connector for the dummy rear fog (some wire attached to it would be preferred)
- Long range light switch (I want to repurpose the blank on the other side into an ignition kill switch)
- 2x Glove box light covers (partnumber 3200805)
- 2x Glovebox/boot light housing (partnumber 3460479)
- Early car ash tray (one that opens slowly when you press down on it)
This one is a bit of a reach, but does anyone have an original storage box as seen in the 1989 accessories brochure? I've searched but can't find any trace of it anywhere apart from one picture in a pdf scan. If not, can anyone confirm that it actually existed in the first place? I know you can buy stowage boxes that fold flat, but I'm only after the original one.
Thanks in advance
William

Can help with the switch I think;
By the way, if you want to have dual rear fogs and are thinking of utilising a uk foglamp on the other side, be aware they are very slightly “handed”; most people wouldn’t notice, but it bugged me enough to get one from our European cousins.

Oh and pressure adaptor; you could just get a length of flexible oil pipe with the correct threads on it; not original, but still functional.

ooo please tell me more about that. I don't care about the originality seeing as its a small metal piece hidden deep in the engine bay. All I want is my gauges to function properly. How do I find the correct thread?

I too can help with a switch.
Might be able to help with the foglight as in the complete unit with its fitting and length of wire...
Reminds me I still need to send you the boot clips!
If you find the ashtray, remember you need the whole fitting, not just the ashtray itself.
Best

The pinstripes look amazing on your car! I didn’t know they did them in grey. What other colours did they do them in?
I assume they’re quite hard to come by as with many 480 parts, but do you mind telling me how much you paid for the stripes?
Thanks
William
