Many thanks for reply and offer.I can get both from the Netherlands but am trying to source in the UK initially to avoid dreaded import duties. Cheers Norman.

Hey Norm, you may need to clarify which engine you have to get the right one. Early cars have an oval throttle body; later ones circular; and maybe other variations depending on pipes and sensor.

Can you put your VIN number up?

Thanks James. It’s for R3 which is a 1988 1.7 na the earliest engine I believe with the oval throttle body.

Ah, so a bit harder to find. I take it yours has a leak? I think you’ll have hands covered in RTV sealant soon!

IMHO self amalgamating tape might be neater and last a wee bitty longer?

stretches much better than gaffer/ insulting / carpet tape and at least it has some integrity initially?
