Without the part, water will flow into the pollen filter.

This is quite a hard part to find, although you may have more luck in LHD, but I see Sylvia and David have a solution here with a yogurt pot!

That is no problem if you have one. Djurre is a very sympathetic guy, long-time 480 Turbo owner (inherited the car from his uncle), he uses the car almost daily.
