Please does anyone know where I can get a front windscreen?
Took my 480 out for the first time in 12 months and yes, you guessed it, a rock the size of a shot glass got me on the motorway
Thanks

Re: Windscreen wanted
Any local windscreen specialist will be able to track one down for you - don't bother with the national outfits. I've had two fitted in recent years (different cars) at around £200 all in. Local fitters will take care and do a good job.
There is a guy on the eBay site who sells new screens for £150, but you have to fit it yourself!!

Agreed, supply still seems to be around and I had one fitted a few weeks ago. It was through the insurance so I went with their recommended supplier National Windscreens.

Re: Windscreen wanted
I've had two fitted in 480 by 'national outfits' , no problems, done via the insurance
and even the SS1 was fitted by some of the 'big outfits', (although woul dhave to wait eight weeks if i wanted a brown tinted vs clear, but as they only ever built 1400 , that seemed 'fair' ?) I guess it depends on the guys (or gals) doing the job,
£75 excess seemed OK to me
if you get the chance ask them to remove it one day so you can make sure the frame is nice and rust free before fitting the new one....
