Polar Parts Post-Brexit Update

I don't know if anyone else used Polar Parts as much as I did pre-Brexit but I know they haven't offered UK postage since January.
I wrote to them today to ask if UK postage was ever going to become an option again and they said it definitely is but they are awaiting a 'tax number' They said they applied for it some time ago but it takes a while.
Of course, P&P could be higher than before but it may not be quite in the Skandix league.
