Hi All, I’m back! Not since 2007 have I posted as I reluctantly sold my 480 Celebration then :wall:
Anyway, at the start of lockdown I managed to buy a 1990 480ES needing a lot of love and care
I have got her to a good level but need a few bits to finish the job properly

Drivers side door window regulator with motor
Air intake rubber hose B18EP
Passenger side headlight pop up motor

If anyone can help please get in contact

Cheers

Welcome back! We are from different eras but it is always nice to see people returning to 480s (or 480s returning to people as the case may be with this model  )

I think one of the rescue cars is being broken, but you'll have to contact jifflemon for the rundown on what is still available

Chances are that you can revive the popup motor by letting it popping up and down for 15 minutes or so (pull the relay and bridge contacts 87 and 30/30a in the relay socket)

Hello, and welcome back ! Another ex 480 owner back in the fold is always good news. I hope you manage to sort out the problems with your new/old toy. I believe someone was repairing window regulators - Joep maybe ? Someone on here will know and I have Joep's email address if you need it. Pop up motors are in short supply as they are the same ones Ferrari use - obviously much cheaper for a Ferrari owner to break one of our cars for its motors than buy new !! I wont suggest you ask Ferrari for a price, don't want to give you heart failure......

We now have a register of Celebrations which I maintain, so I was interested to see that you had one, even if it was 14 years ago. Any details you can give me would be greatly appreciated - registration from an old photo perhaps ? Colour and no of 480 would also be great if you can remember, plus any info on where it went when you sold it.

We are hoping to have our mobile meets back up and running this summer if restrictions are finally removed. The nearest we will get to Liverpool is the Derbyshire Peak District when the convoy will again drive the infamous Snake Pass. If you'd like to join us you will be warmly welcome - this is still a very friendly club. I'll be posting details soon, just waiting for venues to start taking bookings.

Thanks for the warm re-welcome Sylvia and the good information
Please provide any contact details
We’d be delighted to join some meets and I will dig into the archives to find photos and what number it was.
It was Burgundy red though, 2.0 auto.

It is Joep that does the regulator repairs so I'll pm to his email. Bear in mind he is in the Netherlands so postage won't be cheap (neither will Joep!). If it's just the plastic guide that's broken Jeff tells me you can get 3d printed ones. This is the thread about it:-

He is currently sending his instrument cluster over so I might sort out some parts, though shipping is challenging.
(DPD does not ship at all, DHL only at prices you can buy a return ticket by plane for and PostNL hands it over to Hermes...)
