Volvo 480 Club Europe

I have a Volvo 440 GLE (1990) and I'm on a mad hunt for an air-intake hose (Volvo Part #3448082). If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know.

Lakes Autos have a few 440 and 460 in for breaking.

Thanks James, I should give them a call. I drove to Lake Autos a few weeks ago and they were closed. I did see a few 400s. I should give them a ring.

They are semi closed due to Covid.

If you can't make contact, let me know and I'll try and see if they have the same hose on my next trip.

Can you post a picture of your hose as there are many more engine variants on the 440/460 than the 480? I am not so familiar with them.

Here's a photo of the part, from my limited understanding it's the same part for the entire 400 series.

I looked through two 440s when I was down at Lakes Auto a month ago, but they were closed and I would never nick a part off of them. I rang them today to no avail. If you do drop by, part or no part, thank you very much.

Although the part says #448082, for some reason Volvo didn't print the necessary 3 on the part, so it's actually #3448082. Gotta love 'em

I can't see your picture but I can tell you there are several different ones across the 400 range, depending on age and which engine.

Sorry - I checked my stores today and although I was sure I had a spare, I can't find it so I probably passed it on to someone at some stage.

I'd persevere with Lakes, but also check ebay - particularly in Germany, Netherlands, Latvia and Lithuania there still seem to be quite a lot of 400 ;arts out there...
