Volvo 480 Club Europe

Wanted, driver's door lock cylinder.

It doesn't matter about the key, I just need the cylinder which I can drop my locking leaves in to code it to my key. Mine was damaged by someone trying to open it with a screwdriver or similar at some point in the car's life.

To remove, just pull off the interior triangular panel, remove the circlip and slide it out.

Yes, although my wife hasn't picked it up from the post office yet and I am out of the country until the end of the month with work! I've just reminded her as the time is running out before it gets sent back!

No, quite the opposite! I am in Saudi Arabia for Christmas!

Can you imagine the Volvo 480 was sold new there? There are at least two documented cases of a 1992 Volvo 480 Turbo automatic delivered to Saudi Arabia, and then exported back to The Netherlands. Of course they were equipped with air conditioning.

I am surprised that any car makes it out alive from here!

Funnily enough, I would love to find one out here‎. We have one car between four so there's plenty of space on my driveway for a Saudi project 480!

My wife got the shield for me, thank you. I'll get it sent off for powder coating in the new year.
