Subframe bushes

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Subframe bushes

Post by jamescarruthers » Sat Oct 13, 2018 3:58 pm

There are two types of subframe bushes, two in the front (P/N: 3467815) and two in the rear (P/N: 3485813).

The rear ones seem to be very difficult to get hold of.
The front ones are available very easily and I think that you can make them fit the rear position, although that may be only true for later cars where I think the parts catalogue has 3467815 listed as suitable for installation front and back.

However, the rear (white) ones are available here: https://www.volvo340onderdelen.nl/en/vo ... 85813.html

I used these in my 480, however, check your subframe as later cars might just use all four of the easy to find ones!

no problem, I have a full set here (two front & two rear), mines a 93 car (built around july/august 93 if I go by various 'checked by tags /stickers' on cable harness, bonnet moulding etc and other parts etc

length of steel tube seems to be main difference?

Maybe its as simple as the length of the bar, yes. I was worried that the rubber might have been a different density front to rear (hence why the rears are white) so made sure I got the white ones
