Hi John,

I don't have an easy answer for you but when I needed one for my automatic transmission a few years ago I did a bit of investigation. Both are sandwich or donut type oil coolers. There's a company called Mocal who make this sort of thing.

They're going to be a pretty universal part as long as you can match up the sizes.

In the end I found a new old stock automatic transmission cooler and didn't buy from Mocal.‎

Good luck!

For info, original part number is 3460478 and wss available from Scandix in the past. Details and nice picture here  ‎http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-parts/co ... l/1040037/

A very brief look on eBay brings this Nissens NS90697 up with a nice picture with dimensions. Maybe you can check this against yours?

I haven't looked too hard at this bit so please double check before buying!‎

Well, just Googling the part number brought me to a source of new parts!

The oil cooler is indeed a Renault part, has also been used in the S40/V40 with Renault F9Q turbo Diesel engines and is currently produced by Nissens (type number 90697 indeed).
https://www.rendcarparts.com/volvo/part ... RD3460478N (reliable supplier, very friendly people, but expensive...)
https://www.qp24.de/car-parts/oil-coole ... 97/1826470 (have no experience with them, but they are at half the price)

Vauxhall Movano, Vauxhall Vivaro, Nissan Primastar and Nissan Interstar (all badge engineered Renault Master and Trafic) use the F9Q-engine so you might be lucky finding a cheap one on a scrapyard.

Following my own advice on this post, I bought the Nissens cooler to replace the completely blocked original. It is slightly thinner which means the thread will have to be turned down a few MM to get a good seal to the engine block. Also, the nut will have to be turned down slightly to get a good seal between the cooler and oil filter.‎

The original was made by Modine on this car but I don't think they make the donut type that they invented any more.‎
