Various parts request

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Various parts request

Post by yorkshire480 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 9:04 pm

Okay here goes.....
Has anyone got:
Air vents. Drivers side pair plus the one by the alarm LED.
Both knackered by using various cup holders etc. Don't do it kids! Once the the arm that connects the air direction fins comes free they rattle like a bastard and can't be reattached.

Drivers side fog lamp: Stone impact has done for mine.

Front number plate holder: Some expert parking (either mine or some other idiots) has crushed it. Still functional but the large cracks annoy me.

Rear mud flaps: I know no one's got any of these but what the hey. Are they really needed anyway? I prefer the look of the side that's now missing one.

Cheers ma dears...

for front holder remove the holder from the back, cut off the middle section, couple self tappers into front plastic, job done!

Thanks Alan, if I understand you correctly you're saying just remove everything but the front panel of the holder and use that?

Thanks French Fries....I'll send a pm.

.
maybe not clear,

take the number plate holder off the back bumper, the rear number plate holder is held to the back bumper with three screws

screw rear number plate direct to the bumper.

there are three raised section on REAR number palte holder, cut the middle bit of plastic off, now just two remain . . . .

The holder is flexible enough to let you fix the rear holder onto the front bumper across the 'VEE' shape, i don't do phot bucket or I'd take a photo (when rain stops)
