I'd like a passenger side electric window switch and lower of the two little plastic trims that attach to the handbrake lever and stop sweets falling into the mechanism.

Where are you based, if your near to me it might be worth a trip over for some bigger components!

Best

Tim

There are only 2 screws. There are 4 holes in the instrument pod to cover LHD and RHD cars but they are only used on one side, the other side slides into a plastic holder.

Assuming the design was never changed to what I have.

Tim - it does sound as if you are hanging together with a minimum of screws: where have they all gone?? Hopefully replacing them all will resolve a few of the rattles that you must have... ;)

Eye of Ra is quite right; on a RHD car only two screws hold the instrument binnacle in place on its right hand side. The left hand side just slots into the bracket it sits in.

Hi all

I have PMed Glasgowjim on how to remove a rear window already but there is a hole in my window seal (rear passenger side on UK car), do you have the part by any chance?

Thanks in advance

According to Vadis the seal is not a separate part so the whole window will need to be replaced.

It’s not difficult to remove (not but one back in yet) and should not be too difficult to source.

The seal is indeed integral to the rear side windows.

It took me less than 30 seconds to remove one but about 4 minutes to replace it.

such is life ;)

You start at the rear bottom part of window where the broad rubber bit is....... with the rear boot lid up so that you can get access to both inside and outside surfaces

Hi Everyone,

I'm going back to my parents tomorrow to get some more parts out and cleaned up so will have a look and get some pictures of the bits everyone has asked for. Will check all the screws but pretty sure I still have them.

Will be getting the interior out and the centre console with cup holders out and cleaned as well as all the trim pieces. If anyone wants any pictures of bits, let me know.

Thanks

Every time I try and fix the info center I seem to have a little collateral damage ;-) The nose was a surprise even to me tho! :-)

Thanks everyone,

Tim

This is my next thing to try:

Anti Rattle tape!

Probably won't help, but every little helps!

Hi, a little ambitious, but I need a headlamp strut (offside if it makes a difference), two sidelight bulb holders, speedo transponder and both rear light covers if they're in better condition than mine and you can get them off? Hope to hear from you!
