Still quite a lot of bits left,

Engine 2l with 50k miles on - will break the engine if people want bits from it

Gear box with 50k miles on, really smooth gear change

Wing mirrors, both sides in green

Washer bottle

Passenger electric window mechanism

Fuse board and cover

Loads of trim bits

Door catches

Window looms

Nose cone

Window glass - all available

4 alloys with good tyres. 2 are nearly new tyres

Space saver wheel

Radiator fan plastic cover/cowling

ABS pump

Brake calipers, some are pretty new.

Seat belts

Plus loads more.

Will start getting pictures up at the weekend.

If there is anything you want pictures of before, send me your email address and I will send them over.

Thanks
Josh

Yes I have that. I will get it removed, and if in good condition, I will send you a picture of it. Will probably be at the weekend.

Thanks

Just a note of caution. Never tried it so could be wrong but the rubber was not a separate part so may not be reusable once removed.

True. I checked the P/N and it seems to be 1 single piece. I don't mind though, my Volvo guy can install it for me if needed :)

Ok, I will check it tomorrow but pretty sure the glass etc is in good condition. Will get a picture sent over.

Hello Ger and Martin, and welcome!

Those in need of a speedometer sensor: these parts are unavailable new.
Be aware that in many cases the sensor is not at fault. Measure with an ohmmeter between pins 6 and 12 of the grey connector behind the instrument cluster. If you measure low ohms (say anything between 3 and 10 ohms), the sensor is OK. Usually the wiring to the sensor breaks when work has being done to the gearbox or the clutch.
If the sensor is OK, try to solder pins 6 and 12 of the grey connector on the main board of the instrument cluster.
This will solve a faulty speedometer in many cases.

Rear lights in good condition have unfortunately become "unobtainium".
Robert.

Do you still have the front sub-frame.

no rush and it can wait (winter project) until all the other bits are gone, engine & front suspension are attached to it!!

or if any other folk have a subframe for a 2 litre post 93 version (car is Sept 93) nearer ABZ :-)

Hi there! I have a 2.0ltr celebration and I'm looking for the auxiliary fan belt tensioner for the smaller, secondary belt that powers the alternator and a/c unit. Mines has broken off after a monumental fault... Can't seem to source one anymore online or from a dealership. Would you have this available?

Cheers,

Will

If it's definitely the panel rather than a loose connection, it's better to send the whole cluster to brinkie in Holland for a refurb. than buy a secondhand one - last one we had done cost 70 euros. brinkie will also replace the poor quality cog in the speedo - these all fail eventually so well worth getting that sorted. You can pm him, user name is brinkie.

Do you still have the front seat belts popup arms with rollers intact? And is the front windscreen intact? Also looking for front springs/suspension units.
I'm based in Cornwall as well. Is it possible to drop by with a shopping list?
cheers

Hi Jim,

Sorry for the late reply, I have had a busy few months and my partner gave birth last week.

I will check the windscreen as i think it's good! Suspension is all there alone with engine, gear box, and quite a few other bits. Happy for you to give me a list and I will see what I have or you can come and have a look for yourself. If you send me an email or phone number I can send some pics aswell of what's left if you like.

Cheers

Hi Josh- congratulations on your new arrival!

Next year I would like a rear carpet for the boot. And the black dashboard surround (that houses the instruments and switches) Might have to be a post thing although I do get to Bristol & Southampton sometimes, both for some restoration I wont be doing for months so no pressure getting back to me.

All the best

Tim
